`Sound Sister Collective Presents - Lu'Ami + Static Ella + ASHKAT

Sound Sister Collective is a Brighton-based community for women in music, created to support connection, collaboration, and growth. The collective exists to create more visible, supportive spaces for women across all areas of music — from artists and producers to DJs and creatives.

Their first showcase brings together three solo, female producers from the local independent scene. This event helps kickstart the collective and supports future showcases, workshops, and opportunities for women in the local music scene.

Lu'Ami mixes live vocalised loops with electronically produced sounds and classical flute to create a bed of alt-pop, neo-soul and jazz, overlaid with catchy pop melodies.

Inspired by innovative artists including Imogen Heap and Billie Eilish, Static Ella infuses pop sensibilities with a shadowy edge, creating songs that explore themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the darker corners of the human experience.

ASHKAT is a Brighton alt-pop artist blending ethereal grit and synth driven power, drawing on comparisons to FKA Twigs, Grimes and Kate Bush. Known for her mesmerizing live looping and BBC supported releases, she's a rising force on the electronic pop scene.
